I already do backups. Why archive, and what's difference anyway?
We recommend you continue with your daily backups. In the event of catastrophic failure, a full system backup is what you will need to back up and running. Archiving makes a permanent copy of all messages automatically, and is the easiest and most effective way to retrieve historical messages. Even in a small sized organization it can take literally days to cycle through backup tapes full of PST files looking for specific messages.
